Field Kitchen, 1920s-1930s

Field KitchenOn maneuvers, these enlisted men looked forward with anticipation and trepidation to the day’s menu. Army cooks tried to supply quantity and quality within the limits of ration allotments and available supplies.

Note the milk cans being used to boil water, and the square pan which fits inside the field stove for easy transport.
